the death of a 13-year-old baltimore boy who died after leaning out of a moving car ask then struck by another car. the young boy had been sick by a drink call drink. 13-year-old michael thomas was well liked and had a lot of friends. that meant a lot to family

getting this stuff you'll see a changeover but in some places up to ten inches of snow have fallen. the garrett county was a near miss for us it's going to be history by tomorrow. a different story for president's day and that forecast is just ahead new details after a stabbing this afternoon. the victim has died. police say they respond around three o'clock and one man stabbed but that's all they're staying at this point. the victim's injuries are serious. no word on his condition or possible motive. a georgia pastor is in baltimore to challenge the state's law on the death penalty. he preached at the douglas community church. they are strongly believing in human rights and he's challenging the state to repeel the death penalty.

the air is too try and it's evaporating before it hits the grounds. some of that is snow because the air has gotten cold enough. it's back into tensy and kentucky earlier today and parts of virginia and mountains up to ten inches of snow has fallen so far. let's look at what happened today. here in town at dwi marshall is the high. so the temperatures were fairly typical today. cloudy all day long. morning lows were above freezing. the record snow on this day was 16 inches, so weren't going to break that today. right now it's 38 and cambridge 36, out of frederick is 37 degrees. already in the 20's in far western maryland. low pressure center itself is south. little farther south than forecasts had it a day or two ago and that explains why we

didn't get involved in it. anyway, it's moving straight out to sea and coming behind it is high pressure. this is monday's weather. by tuesday we get involved with a system that's coming into the plain states and then later in the week there's more stuff over the atlantic. maybe a couple more shots here although temperatures will go up during the week. whatever precipitation coming up will not be snow. gradually it will be clearing, we might get a flurry or sprinkle but not likely. 29 to 35 for the low and 57 to 51 for the high tomorrow. so a little bit warmer because we're adding sunshine to the picture tomorrow. a bit of a breeze especially in the morning. 10 to 15 and a few gusts could be 20 or so. future cast shows the system pulling out by 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning and there might be a

little snow left and clouds go away and we break into sunshine during the day on monday. not a bad day for president's day. as far as the amounts of snow. this one shade of blue indicates maybe three inches of snow in parts of southern maryland or the eastern shore. 49 the eye and up into the 50's almost the rest of the week. late on tuesday, maybe a rain shower. in and out of the clouds wednesday and thursday. wednesday night there might be a shower but the daylight hours look dry. almost on 60 on thursday and then rain comes into the picture on friday and gets colder. a great game. exciting as well. a gymnastics story. three young lady whose are national champions coming up national champions coming up next in sports.
